  • NCAA championship, here we come!

Duke will not be the last number one to fall at the hands of the Spartans. Now, North Carolina must feel the underestimated fury of East Lansing as we march our way to the national title!

Think I'm crazy?? Well thats what people thought last week when I said we'de be in the final four!

    GO SPARTANS!
  • Clark Kellogg picks MSU over Duke

Its nice to get some tourney respect for a change, I remember reading that ESPN had the Spartans out in the first round.

Check out all his picks here.
  • Duke who??

After a stressful weekend of the first 2 rounds of tourney play the Spartans came out on top. I was especially worried this year because of our lack of poise near the end of the game, we seem to dominate, but can fall apart under the pressure of closing the deal. Fortunately, the Spartans were able decisively beat both Old Dominion on Friday and Vermont on Sunday. With last weekends showing, i can honestly say that this Fridays match up against number one seeded Duke should be a good one and with a bit of luck may even pull it off. We certainly have the athletic talent to match duke, and after that pre season spanking back in the Fall were due for a little revenge. If we can manage to move on, the road will not get any easier. I would say that Kentucky has a good chance of advancing to the eight over Utah.

I hope this time next week I’m taking about a final four match up...Go State!

  • VS.net 2005 beta 2 delayed again!

    go here for details

I figured that cutting all of those features would speed up the beta cycle...I think they may have too many cooks in the kitchen on this one.
  • The Matrix Online

I got my chance to play The Matrix online yesterday and was pretty impressed with the graphics and initial story. I seems that you enter the matrix in a post truce erra where there is still a fine line when it comes to interaction with agents of the system and the exiles. There is also a decent quest/mission system which helps guide you to your target area, which I though was pretty cool as well.

The main things I didn't like were the combat system and the interface. Maybe is because I'm so used to WoW but I didn't feel that either was as intuitive, especailly close combat and weapons firing. Its an automated system with some interaction, like most mmo's, but I felt like i didn't know what to do when and how to deal the most damage.

All in all, I think the game will find a decent player base but, as for me, I'm gonna stay faithful to WoW for now.
